Kratom

Kratom is a safe herbal supplement used by millions of Americans to manage pain and other symptoms, or as an alternative to coffee to help their mood and focus.

Natural Kratom comes from a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family native to Southeast Asia and has been used for centuries in traditional medicines. Kratom has been safely used for decades in the United States, and is becoming increasingly popular because of what it is, and what it isn’t.

Kratom is not a drug, not an opiate, and not a synthetic substance. Natural Kratom is a safe herbal supplement that is used by millions for pain management, anxiety, depression, sleep, or as an energy boost depending on the strain. Despite coming under attack by the FDA because it’s not a prescription drug, many Americans are turning to Kratom to help them eliminate chronic pain, a drug dependency, or as an energy boost. They say Kratom gives them relief from constant pain, and many say it saved their lives. That’s why more and more Americans are benefiting from it daily. See if Kratom could help you or someone you know.

Always research the supplements you are interested in trying.  Use cation when taking Kratom, always start with a small dose and take more as needed, too much Kratom is not a pleasant experience though this fact helps reduce abuse. If you accidently take too much, sit down and sip orange juice or lemonade because the citric acid will speed the digestion of the Kratom.

Always take Kratom with respect, treat it like a vitamin or a daily medication and do not abuse it.  As you use it, your tolerance will go up and you must be vigilant to keep this under control.

Quitting excessive or prolonged use of Kratom can produce withdraw affects for many Kratom consumers.  These affects are similar but not a severe as opioid withdraw in that you may experience restless legs, irritability, hot and cold flashes, and low energy.  It is recommended to take breaks when taking Kratom on a regular basis or reduce the amount you take on days you are less active.  Call or text me for additional information, experience, or advice on how to approach this, I am always happy to help you!

There are many ways to make Kratom and most of them do work, all you really need to do is consume the leaves or a drink brewed from the leaves, go online to find out other ways.  More time and care you put into making it, the better it will taste, and this may be a trial and error process until you find what works best for you and your taste.

How I recommend to make it:

  1. Heat up water to just under boiling temperature, about two cups per person per dose.
  2. Measure about 5 grams per person, no more than 10 for highly experienced drinkers. One heaping teaspoon is about 5 grams, one tablespoon is about 10 grams, though it is best to measure with a scale.
  3. Put this directly into a filter bag. Add any cinnamon, citric acid, magnesium citrate, peppermint, spearmint, or any other herb or spice that may help the taste or have additional medicinal properties.  I usually use about 1 gram of each per gallon of tea.  Put this into the filter bag and tie it off so it is very loose like a true tea bag.  Ask us specifically what might work for you to treat what ills you.
  4. Put the filled filter bag directly into the pitcher or container you wish to use it in. Pour hot water directly into the container and stir the water carefully to not open the strainer bag.  Let steep to a half hour and it is ready to drink if you like it warm.  I leave the strainer bag in the container submerged as long as you can, this make the Kratom tea stronger as it ages.  Most people prefer their Kratom cold and it will last longer if chilled.  Add sweeter to your taste.

*Citric acid and Magnesium Citrate act as preservatives, making your tea stay fresh longer and increases the potency.
